International Otxotes Festival

Portugalete is once again an international venue for otxotes. This month, the FIOP, the most prestigious and avant-garde ochotes (8-voice choir) festival, is offering an extensive programme, ranging from exhibitions to concerts and documentaries. In its 19^th edition, this festival, the only one of its kind of international scope and the only one held in Bizkaia, is dedicated to women’s ochotes, voices that have virtually never been heard in 8-voice choir events, but which, little by little, are finding their way into this world.
