Caring arms

On 3 June next, Getxo will be the venue to the 4^th El Abra-Getxo Marina Open Water Swim. Just a short distance from Bizkaia Bridge, this competition is perfect for amateurs starting in the world of open water swimming, thanks to its location (within the Marina area) and its short distance (one kilometre). The race will start from La Bola Beach and the finish line will be the auxiliary jetty at the Marina. The swim zone is thus completely safe, protected from waves and currents.. The entry fee is €15 and all the money collected in this competition will go to the Retina Bizkaia Begisare association, an entity working in favor of those affected by hereditary dystrophies of the retina, the aim of which is to improve the quality of life of people suffering from this kind of diseases.
