Para llevar a cabo esta tarea, se ha planificado el montaje y desmontaje de 12 m\u00f3dulos de andamios, cada uno de 25 metros, cubriendo todo el per\u00edmetro exterior de la pasarela. Se montar\u00e1n solo dos plataformas a la vez para evitar sobrecargar la estructura. El trabajo ser\u00e1 realizado por Montajes Meccano, una empresa especializada en andamiajes de gran complejidad para estructuras singulares, como el Puente Bizkaia.
