The company’s main activity consists of managing passenger and vehicle transport between the two sides of the river. This service is the raison d’être behind the Vizcaya Hanging Bridge.
The services operate 24 hours a day all 365 days of the year. The prices vary depending on the time of day and in the case of vehicle transport, the price is accumulated between the price for the vehicle and its occupants. The prices are fixed by Bilbao’s autonomous Port.
A second group of activities, which have taken on great significance over the last few years, is that related to leisure and tourism, and in particular visits to the pedestrian walkway, merchandising of souvenirs and gifts and vending machines situated on both sides of the river, as well as renting out spaces for product presentations, fairs, advertising, institutional acts, exhibitions, fashion shows, etc.
